Troissoeur consists of a collaboration of 3 Vanvinckenroye brothers (Rein, Edwin and Joris) and guitarist Pieter Thys.
In the late 1990s they created their quirky, expressive, anarchistic and theatrical electro-acoustic sound.
Troissoeur was known as a band with a strong and energetic live reputation. They constantly tried to challenge themselves and surprise the audience.
They were the inspiration for many bands and music projects and where known as one of the bands that are combining different styles as a new direction within contemporary folk.
20 years ago, they played at major international festivals worldwide and signed with Emi for their album productions. Troissoeur took a break in 2007. The time they needed to grow personally and explore new directions led to projects such as the Millenniums, Assunta & The Light Orchestra, Aranis, BASta!, EZRAh, The Craving Deer, Silent Music, The Tribe Band, …
After a 13-year silence, they picked up where they left off.
In 2020-2021 they played a first series of reunion concerts following their 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Trah Njim’.
After this, Troissoeur decided to continue with a new drive and energy like never before.
Currently, the group is working on a new program Vinistan that will be presented in 2024.
